In Year 4, we build confidence, curiosity, and independence as learners. Our curriculum is packed with exciting and meaningful topics that help children connect with the world around them. From exploring the 7 Natural and Historical Wonders of the World to learning about significant individuals like Jane Goodall and Nelson Mandela, our History and Geography lessons spark thoughtful discussion and inspire global thinking.
In Science, we investigate electricity through hands-on circuit experiments and explore the importance of sustainability with our ‘Reduce, Reuse, Recycle’ theme. Our ICT sessions include animation projects and learning how the internet works safely and responsibly.
Creative expression is encouraged through Art and Drama, where students explore a range of drawing techniques and take part in improvisation and performance. PE, music, PSHE, and a variety of class-based activities ensure that learning goes well beyond textbooks.
At Acacia, Year 4 is a time to grow, explore, and thrive—academically, socially, and creatively!
